Organic Podcast 02 – The Midnight Perverts

Romeo Ugalde’s podcast for Organic is a deep, sensual and unhurried affair. It starts with several very easy-flowing, straight-beat darker tracks. Intelligent funky bass lines and vocal snippets are the dominant feature in most of them. The mix flows effortlessly in time capturing attention and suspending in this state until towards the last 15 minutes it evolves smoothly into bit funkier, more energetic part – still retaining its cool persona and musical gravitas. And again for the very last couple of breaths it starts glowing with disco balls and acidy bass lines, leaving a lasting impression and teasing our curiosity. Nice one!

Organic Podcast 01 – Clayton Guifford

With its melodic, heavily funk infused vibe the first Organic Podcast sets high standards straightaway. Clayton manages to create a perfect mix of deep vintage sounds, delicately selected, bottled up and served fresh for the duration of an hour. It’s probably an ideal pick for early morning listening on a sunny day to set you off on  a very positive wavelength. The intensity and the depth increases through the mix but only in a subtle, gentle way so not to lose its relaxed and chilled spirit. The Podcast keeps you floating in its beautiful, vocal rich harmonies, not giving up right to the end.
